What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We first need to establish trust and that whenever working with me, it's a safe place. I like to know a little about the student and tell them a little about me and then just jump in - starting wherever the student is as far as experience level.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a bachelors and masters degree in vocal performance and opera and a minor in music theory from the University of North Texas in Denton.

Voice: $40/hour
Piano: $30/hour
I'm happy to do half hour lessons as well.
How did you get started teaching?
I starrted teaching my senior year as an undergrad going to a local middle school and teaching voice to students during their choir time different days a week. I fell in love with teaching then and there.

All types. Beginning, intermediate, younger and older students.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Go with whoever makes you comfortable. It never is "one size fits all"
