I started playing guitar at the age of 8 years old. I have been a Music teacher now since the age of 15.. I have taught 1000's of students and inspired people of all ages to learn a musical instrument & share the joys of playing Music!!!

With over 14 years of teaching experience, I can develop the talents of beginners and working singers alike. I hold a masters in vocal performance from the prestigous Chicago College of Performing Arts, and have studied with world renown singers, teachers, and coaches. I am a professional singer and full time musician. The process of developing the voice is rewarding for teacher and student. Sharing my knowledge with others brings me great joy.

Routed in rudimentary foundation for professional performance, Russian Overtones' teaching style focuses on posture, hand and finger positioning, as well as the essential mechanics for the ultimate professional performance technique. I teach all ages. Start piano usually around 6 years old Start guitar students at 6 on ukelele then to 1/2 or 3/4 size guitar around 9. Flute students usually start around 5th or 6th grade.
