About
Eun Mi Oh is an experienced and highly qualified teacher that has been teaching for almost 30 years. Before moving to the greater Dallas area, she was a highly sought-after piano teacher that had taught in the Seattle area for over 15 years with a private studio of over 40 students. Students from her studio regularly received the highest ratings in local and state competitions. Parents of students consistently spoke of her strong pedagogy, passion for teaching, and consistency.
Eun also has experience teaching early childhood music and movement through the Musik Garten program, sequential music and developmental program for young children. She is a certified Musik Garten preschool music teacher and has taught this curriculum for over 10 years at preschools in the Seattle area.
Eun received her Bachelor of Music in Church Music from (insert school here) in Seoul, Korea and did her graduate studies in organ performance at the University of Southern California, receiving a Masters in Organ Performance. She has also done additional graduate studies at the Golden Gate Baptist Seminary in Mill Vally, CA with an emphasis on piano and voice studies.
Eun holds a permanent Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) professional certification of music in piano teaching (NCTM). She is also is a certified piano teacher with the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) in elementary, intermediate, and advanced levels. In addition to her teaching experience, Eun has served as a director of music, organist, and pianist for local churches in the U.S. and South Korea
