I work with small groups or individual students to improve their reading, writing and math skills. I also teach priivate swim lessons and Aqua Aerobics.

I have a background in Special Education and also taught English as a Second Langusge (ESL) so I incorporate American Sign Language in my work and speak Conversational Spanish.

I was in the classroom for 36 yrs as a public and private school teacher. I taught Special Education for 23 years snd ESL for 12 years.

I graduated from Baylor University in Waco , Texas with a degree in Education/Communica-tions. I studied Kinesiology in post graduate work at Texas Women's University in Denton, Texas. I have studied Conversational Spanish, German, Russian, American Sign Language and done research on language acquisition.

I wrote a grant on Character Education for a middle school in Garland, Texas. I was Teacher of the Zyesr at Louise Kahn Rlementary School in Dallas in 1990.

I am a real people person and take my private tutoring and teaching very seriously. I enjoy getting to know the families and work with each student to improve their skills and make learning fun.
