Preeti Patel offers fun and engaging dance lessons. She is among the few belly dance instructors who also provide traditional dancing, bollywood dancing, Indian folk dancing and more. She has been dancing professionally and teaching for 10 years now. She also performs bollywood and belly dance fusion at wedding or other events.
My profession allows me to connect with people. People from all walks of like and all ages, it makes me realise the the world is bigger than we think and there's a way we can connect to the world and that is through dancing.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first class is a demo session, I believe my student should feel completely confident about what they are investing into. If they are confident with my teaching pattern we move further to paid sessions.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken professional training in belly dance from Banjara School of dance in Delhi, India. Indian folk dance training from reknown folk artist in India. Dancehall training from Jahnavi Sheriff, Bollywood Hip-Hop training from Roli's Dance academy and hip-hop artists in Mumbai. I am fond of learning and desire to continue enhancing my current knowledge by training in more styles.

At my place Bollywood $15 drop ins and and $100 for a full month package (2 classes a week on hour each)
Belly dance $30 drop ins and $180 full month package 2 classes a week one hour each day.
Folk dance $30 drop in and $200 month package
How did you get started teaching?
Teaching came very naturally to me. After taking professional training and assisting many known dancers I started teaching dance to kids for local event at no cost. It was such a beautiful experience to see kids smile and enjoy language of dance, when my students would win prizes or share story of how dance changes their day to day life, I knew I wanted to be the reason for bringing these happy changes and decided to teach dance professionally.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with students of all age groups, from toddlers of Kinder Garten to adults of age 50 or more I've taught them all.

Dancing and being able to heal myself and others through virtual classes despite the pandemic in 2020 and 2021
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Always try first, and secondly, have faith in your teacher! Believe in the positive

Am I excited to learn this new dance style? Why do I want to learn this dance or dance style?
