Hi there, I have been teaching tennis for 10 years, I am USPTA Elite Certified. I've been playing tennis since I was in middle school and started seriously studying the game since I was in college. I practice with a d1 college player on a weekly basis to keep my game sharp. My goal for my students and myself is to master these aspects of the game: 1. Stroke mechanics perfection 2. Maximizing an individuals fitness level and nutrition 3. Develop winning strategies and simplifying the game I always start out by fixing any wrong mechanics in my students' form. Once the form is correct, we reinforce the correct form by training with a purpose. Once the student has become comfortable enough I will try to maximize the students' fitness level through intense on court training and providing off court fitness/nutrition advice. I can work with students in the gym and provide students with diets to follow through my degree specialization. However my priority is to provide the student with what he/she wants, and ensuring that the lesson is an enjoyable experience. If you just want a good workout or if you constantly want to work on improving your game, i can cater to your needs. I have a degree from the University of Houston in Exercise Science and a minor in Nutrition. I have competed in tournaments, league tennis, college intramural tennis at a nationals level, been a league captain, and been the president of the tennis club at the University of Houston. I love to study the game through coaching peers, college tennis buddies and watching videos and reading books. I am a huge fan of the ATP/WTA tour and follow it fervently.
Patient and laid back.
