Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
We specialized in personalized lessons and provovide private sessions to children and adults. We also offer small groups for our parent & baby swim class. Our 30 minute private class for children is about $47 per class and we schedule 6 lessons in advance.
How did you get started teaching?
This career began as a summer job one season back in the summer of 1997. I taught for the City of Carrollton under the Red Cross curriculum. I then worked as an instructor for the City of Coppell, The YMCA of Austin, Clubcorp. In 2005 began working at a private swim school in New York City called SwimJim and subsequently began developing my own method and curriculum and scheduling my own clients in 2013.
What types of students have you worked with?
We've worked with all ages and levels. We teach babies beginnign at 6 months old and we had a student enroll recently who is 66 years old, so we help everyone. And we love it!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We are always excited to see students gain comfort and confidence in the water, wether it's a child or an adult. This summer we had lots of success with our beginners. At times it's challenging to start learning a new skill and we are inspired by our most determined studets, those who have fun trying their best and are happy learning each week.
