East Texas Guitar teaches guitar with a practical approach to theory. This creates guitarists who will progress until the point they can teach themselves. You don't want to pay for guitar lessons for 10 years. You want to learn until you can teach yourself. Outside of that, I'm probably cheaper.
The guitar is my number one passion. It's my desire to see others learn it all and share in my joy of it.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
For students ages 9+:
1. Spend the first few lessons covering the musical scale and simple guitar music theory.
2. Spend the next few lessons covering the guitar, how it works, and proper techniques on basic concepts.
3. Then move to more complex techniques, lessons, and concepts.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
9+ years of guitar and bass experience.

$60.00 per month gets you 4 lessons.
How did you get started teaching?
I had a need arise with a few kids in my church. I helped them learn and decided to use it to make some money to fund my missions plans.
