About

I have played basketball my entire life, including at rhe High School Level. I have coached, reffereed, run camps and clinics, and woked one-on-one with players developing their game from Junior High/Middle School age to Collegiate Athletes. I have both a passion for, and knowledge of the game that I feel few people have. Additionally, I have an extensive background in exercise and strength training, with a focus on sport specific training. I work with the majority of my clients to various extents, in this area to improve their overall game, generally with a strong focus on increasing their vertical leap. I feel their are few, if any individuals that can match the success I have had with my clients in improving their jumping ability. This also has the added benefit of improving almost every other aspect of one's game. Through my coaching experience over the years I know first hand exactly what coaches are looking for in a player, and therefore focus on developing those attributes. I feel I can dramatically improve any High School or Junior High School player's game, beyind any expectarions they may have previously had.

I absolutely love seeing individuals, improve their game and increase their confidence in their game, as well as developed a passiin for basketball.

Frequently asked questions

The first time I meet with a client, I  spend as much time as I feel is necessary analyzing their strengths and weaknesses, and then discuss what they want to focus on, and what their goals are in basketball. I then formulate a plan tailored to meet their specific goals, strengths, time commitment, etc. in a way I feel will most efficiently help them succeed. I also spend time creating workouts, drills and other training for them to work between each session. I feel this is vital to getting the most out of the process.

I played competitively from a young age through high school. I have run countless basketball camps begining back during my freshman year of high school. Additionally I coach, and do a great deal of player development for the local high school program. I am also a referee at the high school level. I have worked one on one with literally hundreds of indivuals over the years. Finally, I have over 25 years of experience and training in sport specific strength and conditioning.

My pricing varies depending on how long and how often I will be working with a client.

Beginning back in Junior High, I was asked to help coach as well as referee. A year later I  started my own basketball camps with another player on the high school team. After High School, I became very involved in coaching and player development, and have been ever since

As far as basketball goes; I have worked with clients of all ages, however, the vast majority are either currently playing for their high school team, or are in middle school (or high school) preparing for tryouts.

Something that is not as life changing, but a big accomplishment nonetheless, is anytime a basketball player dunks for the first time, particularly if they were nowhere near close to being able to. It is always fun and exciting to see someone's reaction the first time they do.

Even more exciting is seeing a player make their Hihh School team.

If you are willing to put forth effort, there is literally nothing I can't help you achieve. Also take advantage of every resource I have at my disposal. There are so many things I know now that I wish I had been taught back when I was playing. One of the great things about basketball is you can always learn more.

If you are looking to take your game to the next level, I feel my expierence both as a player and now as a coach/mentor has helped me to really gain an understanding of what is most important, and how best to improve those areas.

What their goals are, and what areas oknowof their game they want to improve upon the most.
