I am dedicated to helping my students love and enjoy the water. That includes feeling safe and comfortable with their swimming abilities! over the past couple of years I have loved making connections with my students in the watching them grow new talents in the water! I have been teaching swim lessons for the past three years I am WSI certified by the Red Cross and have been a lifeguard for the past four years! I love the water and how rewarding it is to help other enjoy the water to! I strive to understand my students and make my lessons for them as enjoyable as possible!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First I want to know how a student's relationship with the water is including fears or past negative experiences, I want to know this so I can go about teaching the student the best way possible for them so they are comfortable and can learn. I want to make sure we are learning new skills in the water as well as going over old skills in the water to make sure they are they most up to date on their swimming skills as possible. And then I will work with the students patiently and a lesson catered to theirs needs so we can make the most improvement!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Four years lifeguarding certified by the Red Cross, one year aiding/teaching lessons and two years teaching lessons in groups and privately. Am certified in CPR and first aide. have been a head guard at my place of work for the past three years!

Normally I charge $25 for a thirty minutes private lesson but prices are subject to change depending on lessons size and lessons time!
How did you get started teaching?
I was a lifeguard and then started teaching at the pool I was already working at!
What types of students have you worked with?
Students aging from 11 months to 10 years old ! I have work with students who love and hate the water and students with some learning disabilities
