Tennis One LessonsTM is a carefully designed and implemented approach to the total tennis game. The overall goal in the program is to teach tennis for a lifetime of enjoyment and exercise. Sophisticated teaching techniques to analyze and develop strokes are employed. Proper practice and drilling techniques are clearly demonstrated while basic and advanced strategy is taught by lecture and demonstration. The small student/instructor ratio guarantee individual attention and evaluation.
Stephen Strauss, Founder
Steve has vast experience playing and teaching competitive tennis. He was taught the game by the Head Pro at the Washington Golf and Country Club on the public courts at Yorktown High School in Arlington, VA. He played #1 for Langley High School in McLean, VA. his junior and senior years. He was a member of the Water Polo, Swimming and Tennis Teams at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. Stephen Strauss is a member of the United States Professional Tennis Association with their insurance coverage and specializes in the USTA's Quick Start Program for 4 to 10 year olds.
To improve his game and teaching techniques, he attended the adult program at the Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy. He brings a deep understanding of the game and a positive approach.
