Coach J's sports camps are the best around. I focus on not only building athletic skills but also the mental side of sports. Teamwork, character, discipline, hard work, responsibility, integiry are some of my core principles I like to teach. Many athletic abilities transfer over to different sports so I like teaching the fundamentals of athletic movements and skills that can be used in any sport your child wants to pursue. For more advanced lessons we will focus on improving skills needed for that specific sport. I would be happy to share more with you over the phone to discuss your child's specific wants/needs.

He helped target the areas I wanted to work on - more quickness and movement on the court, getting in better shape, and improving my forehand to be more consistent. My tennis game got better as a result!
Our kids are enrolled in private instruction with Coach Jarod. I am so impressed with the class structure. The coach is so full of energy ,keeps the kids very engaged while progressing through their skills. Both my 4 and 6 yrs old love these classes and look forward to it every week. My kids didn’t know any soccer and we don’t practice at home. Just with the coach’s sessions, my kids have made immense progress. I would highly recommend the coach to anyone looking for dedicated sessions for your kids.
Coach J does a great job teaching foundational skills and keeping the kids engaged!
Fun and very organized!
I like to start off with basic athletic skills and movements to see where the student is at. Sports are a building process. You have to have a foundation of skills before adding on more advanced abilities.
I not only attended top tier sports camps when I was growing up but also coached at them in my free time during high school and college. I then worked professionally as a coach for private sports academies such as Ozzie Smith, the NBA's Miami Heat, and many others. I was also a substitute teacher and high school basketball coach before getting my MBA in Sport Management.

I have always enjoyed working with kids even when I was a kid! I always mentored incoming student athletes and now that I have two children of my own I work with them and their friends to help improve their athletic skills and build character on and off the field.
All types, beginner to advanced.
