About

I began playing tennis at 11 years old and have never stopped since! I focus on stroke development, accuracy, and confidence development. What I love most about tennis is you can play at any age and at any skill level. My passion is to teach people who are already invested in tennis, or are simply curious and want to try out a new sport.

A bit about me- During high school I was the team captain for our tennis team, and also was #1 singles at a 4A level school. I went to the University of Washington for college, and during this time I consistently played doubles against other college students recreationally. Now I play for fun and teach students how to play the sport I love!

Frequently asked questions

I usually set up an introductory class that is 45 minutes long, to better understand my students skill level. We then go into a training session and focus on forehand, backhand, net play, ground strokes, and serves. Depending on the skill level of the student, we can progress into more advanced areas such as spin and ball placement.

I played on my high school team all four years, and was team captain and #1 singles for my final two years. I have taught tennis lessons for the last 8 years, usually focusing on children ages 5-12 but I am happy to teach anyone! I played tennis throughout college recreationally on the advanced intermural team.
