I specialize in working with younger children and beginning students. I absolutely love the opportunity to teach new skills to anyone who is interested in learning the piano. I prefer to teach in the student’s home, and a piano or keyboard is required. I do this so the student is learning on the same instrument that they are practicing on. For students under 17 I require the parent to stay in the home and nearby. I am a former skating coach and SafeSport certified and background checked. We had the requirement to have all lessons and interactions as observable and interruptible. I am also a former art teacher with experience from pre-K to senior high school.
