Light In Progress Studios
About
I took private lessons all thru my childhood from a fabulous artist named Jackie Goode of Grisham-Cornell Studios. As a child I won two national art competitions and then gave up painting at age 14. I picked up where I left off in 2013 and have since taught special needs students at Merrimack Hall Performing Arts Center and Lowe Mill in Huntsville Al. I have been selected for many national concerts and music festivals and was a featured artist at the Pensacola Museum of Art in early 2022. I love teaching and painting is my life now.
I love seeing the light bulb come on in students. To watch them grow and find their own voice on canvas is such a wonderful experience.
