Mr. Brandon Lee King, Violinist

Hi! I am Brandon Lee King a violinist currently located in Conway, AR. The violin goes back centuries as opposed to new sciences like digital computers or modern psychology. Yet, everytime I spend quality time with my instrument I almost always learn something new. I have studied the violin since the age of 11-- I am now 39! I am originally from Fort Smith, AR and taught privately throughout the years but mainly have performed. Today, I am a double full time student at the University of Central Arkansas pursing a B.A. of Music, violin and a B.Sc. in psychology. I play all styles from all over the world with an extremely rich and diverse background from music. Before the path I am on now, I started off as a performance major then switched to the B.Ed, music. I am a huge advocate for music education and encourage students to study it just as you would study math or chemistry, only we work on all elements of musicianship one lesson at a time. I currently play in the Conway Symphony Orchestra and many many other various ensembles with some of the best musicians from all over the world! I currently study under Dr. Hsu, professor of violin at UCA. I currently don't have any students but that could always change quick! I am always willing to give lessons provided I have the time. Music has given me the most amazing life I never dreamed possible. I am incredibly humbled and grateful to be a part a contributor of it from families to the entire community, musicians getting help enhance our entire way of life. I am surrounded by the highest skilled and trained community of music educators and performers everday and feel it is both a privilege and an honor teach my students what has been given to me by my teachers. Who I am still friends with today!
