I taught in public education for nearly 40 years at all levels. I was a music specialist in elementary. I taught junior high for 9 years and high school, vocal music and guitar for twenty six years. I was awarded teacher of the year 5 times and I was awarded the Kennedy center for performing arts excellence in music education. I am a firm believer in teaching the proper technique in singing so that there is no harm done to the vocal mechanism.
