Hello, my name Is Lonze. I can't wait to meet you and start a fun, professional, and rewarding private lessons. I have been teaching for 14 years and I absolutely love it. Every lesson is as rewarding for me as I hope it is for my students. Observing the progression of my students is one of the most fulfilling parts of teaching for me. I began playing the Saxophone in elementary school, going on to play at Cass Technical High School. From there I went on to Knoxville College Of Music, studying classical and jazz improvisation. I have played with the All State Symphonic Band at the Fox Theater in Detroit, Michigan, and First Chair Alto Saxophonist with Ben Pruitt and Friends at Bakers Keyboard Lounge. I've played with several bands throughout the years performing classical, many forms of jazz, and blues music. I currently perform in various venues around the Metro Phoenix area. I am a very easy going and enthusiastic person that will bring those qualities to every lesson with my students. I have extensive experience working with kids and adults online , in person and in my personal studio. I have kept a consistent roster of students because of my stress free nature of teaching and knowledge of music . My approach is for my students to learn the fundamentals of music geared to reach their personal goals in a timely matter . I also focus on positive motivational words every lesson to keep you excited about the learning experience. Regardless of skill level, I will teach the basics and progress at the rate the student learns the material. I look forward to helping all my students reach their goals, whether it's in their school band, just for their friends and family, or even for those who want to pursue becoming a professional musician.
