About
I am one of the few teachers who is writing piano music and vocal music for their students. I am inspired to write Christian Music. I have a channel on You Tube.
Collections of piano music posted on You Tube include: Inspirational Preludes, 24 piano pieces written in all 24 major and minor keys. I recently posted 22 piano pieces under the title You Are My Light 001.
I have a B.A. Degree in Music Education (Choral Music) from Arizona State University 1975. I was a piano major, voice minor.
I enjoy having the opportunity to work with students who want to learn. I enjoy becoming part of their lives and sharing new music with them. They give me a lot of encouragement and I arrange music so that they can be successful.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
After a telephone interview, I schedule a free lesson. If they have played before, they bring the music they have been playing. If they are a beginner, I let them use music that I have. I ask them if they are interested in coming back.
NOTE: since I have asthma and am extremely sensitive to exposure to residual tobacco smoke, I accept only students from families that do not smoke.
