Gabrielle is a patient, attentive, and caring instructor. She plays piano in a beautiful, expressive style that I hope to learn how to emulate. She has the kind of personality that helps motivate me to want to practice more and play better. And she takes the time to explain things (like music theory concepts) that dont always make sense to me at first.
She has been helping me improve both with classical music, newer music styles, and also how to play church music in a more flowing, modern way than it is written in (like playing hymns with rolling chords, which though I find intimidating-Im improving!).
I have been very happy with her as a teacher for both myself and my children. As an adult student of hers who had two other piano teachers as a child, Gabrielle stands out as the best piano teacher, in every respect, that I have had.

For someone who struggles with understanding and getting music theory to stick, she’s been very patient and made sense of music theory for me.
She also teaches very good piano techniques to bring out the best in your music playing.
