About

With nearly a decade of teaching experience, I've taught private lessons from primary school age through university students. I teach in the valley area where I also perform regularly.

I'm midway through Doctorate in violin at ASU. I have a Master of Music in Classical Violin Performance from the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor) and a Minor in Music Theory from McGill University. I offer lessons in French or Italian as well.

I believe that every student is different, and that it's never too late to learn something new.

I truly enjoy teaching. There is something very special about empowering someone to achieve new levels of mastery. Because every student is different, every lesson is dynamic. I endeavor to meet the student where they are as opposed to insisting that they fit a rigid model. Especially young students nowadays are put under so much pressure to succeed that they don’t often find spaces to make mistakes. Music, just like sports, requires that we try and try again until we can teach our bodies and minds to do the desired choreographies, and this takes humility and patience. Teaching for me is a service to others, allowing them to explore new experiences that they can take into their lives in so many ways.
