About

It is my goal to leave a nation-wide legacy of individuals who have reached their piano playing goals. All ages are welcome and my priority is ensuring lessons are inspiring and rewarding to all. Students work toward their personal goals and receive awards for accomplishments. It's a great experience!

I have a degree in music. I am an award winning pianist and organist. I've enjoyed playing professionally since I was 12. I teach students to reach their full capacity. Music Is who I am. I love inspiring all the gifts that playing the piano can bring to your life!

I teach online lessons only, which is extremely easy for me to do because I have perfect pitch. I teach on Zoom, FaceTime, Google Meet or Skype, and I do give discounts when 2 or more sign up. Lessons are specifically contoured to each individual student. It’s fantastic and you will feel like I’m right in the room with you.

My patience is as big as my talent, therefore I’ve had the opportunity to work with many students with challenges, from blind, to dyslexia, down’s syndrome, adhd, and many many other challenges. I can teach and do teach piano to anyone with the desire to learn.

Please text me to set up your first free trial lesson. I’m so looking forward to meeting you!

My teacher was incredibly patient, kind, and helpful. She always made me feel supported even when I was struggling on the piano. Also very punctual about lessons! A really lovely experience overall.

I am enjoying working with Michele very much. She is extremely patient and congenial. Her experience teaching and love of music give her unique insights into how different students learn which enables her to give each student a truly personal and rewarding experience. I am only sorry the website will not allow me to change to a higher star rating than the one I chose by accident.

    Frequently asked questions

We discuss your goals. After an initial assessment I recommend which lesson book(s) we will be working from, and why. After a short time of lessons I work as a team with each student helping them collect a “repertoire notebook” of music that they desire to learn. I find the music at the level the student is currently at and as they progress, the music they choose becomes more challenging. This “repertoire notebook” inspires students to study and practice more. If they choose they can participate in our ongoing virtual recital on UTube. I pace myself to each persons rate of learning. I explain music relative to each student, including music theory in every lesson. I answer all questions and assign homework and practice pages. Technique and theory are all balanced to insure a well rounded music education and success.
I have a degree in music. I have practiced daily since I was 7. I attend music symposium's, concerts and musicals. I play the piano and organ in church every Sunday. I accompany the church choir. I still continue to perform at least 5-6 times a year.
30 minutes is $45 dollars 45 minutes is $65 dollars 60 minutes is $85 dollars
I’m from a musical family. We were poor and many sacrifices were made to insure I had piano lessons, voice lessons and dance lessons. My mother sang more than she spoke. I have perfect pitch and am such a good teacher of music because I feel it is my calling.
I’ve worked with every type of individual there is. Young and old. I don’t turn anyone away that has the desire to learn. I’ve worked with people with many handicaps, to name a few: ADHD, ADD, Downs Syndrome, dyslexia, complete Blindness, Peripheral Neuropathy and Autism. Beginners all the way to advanced. I can teach anyone to play the piano.
A couple of things stand out. I was Anthony Rizzo’s piano teacher and after a few months a news station came down to wear his team was practicing. They said they’d heard he was taking lessons. They brought out a keyboard to the baseball field and asked him to play something. Without batting an eye he sat down and played something I had taught him earlier in the week and played it beautifully. My blind student once told me she needed an extensive repertoire because she wanted to be the pianist in heaven. I made sure her wish for an extensive and beautiful repertoire was a reality.
Make sure they live what they do. Ask lots of questions. Make sure they are very respectful and kind. Make sure they can do more than play. Teaching piano is very different than playing piano.
