n a very short period my kids were able to play duo, I did not have these results myself when i attended Music school (7 years of Music school back in my time). Marina is very structured with her teaching technique. I see improvement in my Kids' grades .
Marina is a very gifted musician and has wonderful patience with her students. I'm so sorry she moved away but now resides in Arizona. That state is so fortunate to have her gifts and talents there to train others how to play the piano well
Marina is outstanding teacher. She has the unique ability to connect with young to elderly students and bring out the best of their musical abilities. She has a true passion for her profession.
A very talented teacher who loves what she does and shares it with her students.
Individual lessons are offered at all levels of piano keyboard, beginner to advanced as well as preeschoolers to elderly. I design a program of study and chose the method according to the individual student's needs and inclination. The progress of each student is carefully evaluated and the vocabulary to deliver the iformation is cautiously chosen. I always create a positive and supportive environment for my students and move at an appropriate pace to insure the information is well absorbed.
Marina Kaykova is a piano teacher with over 35-years of teaching experience in the former USSR and the US that is passionate about the music and sharing her knowledge with others.
Marina's Music Academy offers individual lessons in all levels of piano keyboard, beginners to advanced, preschoolers to elderly. I am an Active Member of National Federation of Music Clubs and an Active Member of National and International Guild of Piano Teachers (one of the divisions of the American College of Musicians). My students have an opportunity to perform at various recitals, festivals and auditions provided and supported by these organizations. Students become knowledgeable in music history, music theory, site reading, ear training, memory training and team projects such as duet/trio/quartet performances.
Tuition rate for a 30-minute individual lesson is $45. However, right now, I have a new student special. For the first 10 lessons the tuition rate will be $35/30-minutes individual lesson. I also have a sibling discount, $40/30-minute individual lesson.
I started teaching at my mother's studio as well as Music School in the Former USSR.
