Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Individual lessons are offered at all levels of piano keyboard, beginner to advanced as well as preeschoolers to elderly. I design a program of study and chose the method according to the individual student's needs and inclination. The progress of each student is carefully evaluated and the vocabulary to deliver the iformation is cautiously chosen. I always create a positive and supportive environment for my students and move at an appropriate pace to insure the information is well absorbed.

Marina's Music Academy offers individual lessons in all levels of piano keyboard, beginners to advanced, preschoolers to elderly. I am an Active Member of National Federation of Music Clubs and an Active Member of National and International Guild of Piano Teachers (one of the divisions of the American College of Musicians). My students have an opportunity to perform at various recitals, festivals and auditions provided and supported by these organizations. Students become knowledgeable in music history, music theory, site reading, ear training, memory training and team projects such as duet/trio/quartet performances.
