I have over 25 years of experience as both a school instrumental music teacher, and a private instructor in various instruments, with clarinet, saxophone and piano as major areas of focus. Friendly, student-centered, and funny, I understand the needs of students at a variety of ability levels, and am totally committed to guiding a student through their instructional goals. I have a B.A. in Music from the University of Michigan School of Music, and a M.S. in Music Education from the University of Maryland, with a long resume of performing accomplishments.
