Becker Music Studio

I enjoy teaching one-to- one. Also taught in the public schools at all levels and am familiar with both Orff and Kodaly. Have been teaching privately since 1976, Have a BA in Music History, a MM in Choral Music.

My major instruments have been piano and organ. Have been Music Director at Memorial Presbyterian Church in Phoenix for almost 15 years where I directed the choir, and handbell choir and played the organ and piano. I recently resigned due to some health issues, Have served in this capacity at other churches.

My studio is small, but try to have a recital at the end of the school year. Like to use either the Hal Leonard or Alfred premier series for beginners. Emphasis on technique. Like to incorporate some jazz styles.
