Hello! I have been playing the piano for nearly 10 years through a mixture of piano lessons, music classes, and self taught. This has provided me a balance of technical and creative skills that focuses on the most important parts of creating music: expressing emotions and having fun. Learning music should be fun, not just a chore. After learning the fundamentals, we can learn through the genres you enjoy most, whether that's classical, showtunes, ragtime, and more. I want you to be excited to come to lessons and improve your areas of focus. We can use a structured course to learn more classically or learn whatever sounds most exciting to you.
My other musical endeavors include guitar, ukulele, choir, and musical theater. I have also spent a lot of time with kids, from babysitting to teaching. I enjoy teaching anyone willing to learn, regardless of age. My teaching expertise lies in introductory to intermediate piano.
