I teach CCW, Basic Handgun, Firearms Safety in the Home and also do private lessons. For individuals or small groups (less than 8) I will go to the student's home for the academics and if live-fire is part of the course, we would then go to the range most convenient to my student(s).
I've been shooting since I was 6. My over 33 years in the military has provided me a realistic Outlook on life. For my new or novice students, beside stressing firearms safety and responsibilities of firearms ownership, I love watching their reactions when we apply the academics we learned to live fire.
Regarding my Concealed Carry students, teaching the laws regarding owning, carrying, transporting and if necessary legally using their training in both self-defense or the defense of others siituations is very gratifying.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The student contacts me and we determine what their actual requirements are and then we set a date for the class. We discuss his/her firearms experience and what they want out of the course.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an NRA Certifed Instructor in Handguns, Firearm Safety in the Home and a certified Range Officer. I am also an affiliate instructor with Next Level Training and an Associate instructor with ConcealedCarry.com. I spent over 33 years in the service including Viet Nam, Desert Storm, Enduring Freedom and the Global War on Terrorism.

Private lessons $25 per hour minimum of 2 hours
Concealed Carry including all paperwork $75.00
Introduction to Handguns $65.00 including 1 hour of range time
Firearms Safety in the Home $50.00
