My philosophy of teaching is rooted in the belief that every individual is unique. I acknowledge that every student brings an individual history and approach. By paying careful attention to student's unique qualities, I can help the student to achieve their goals. My instructional process is flexible with a concern for individual differences and for problem solving and discovery. I enjoy watching my students learn and grow. I love helping my students mastering in piano playing in the highest potential levels.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I offer free introductory lesson to identify goals and needs of the student.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have master's degree in piano. Doctoral candidate in piano at University of Arizona.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

I charge relatively cheap for my professional and quality service. For 30 minutes $25, 45 minutes $40 and for 1 hour $50.

How did you get started teaching?

I was teaching assistant since undergrad in piano major. Eventually, I started my own studio.

What types of students have you worked with?

All ages and all levels. Also, I worked with the student with learning disabilities.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

My students enjoy performing in the studio recital I do twice a year.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Ask your teacher if he and she is professional and qualifies to teach. I believe only professional pianist and piano teacher is able to teach piano playing. Not other musicians nor professionally not educated in the field.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

Think about what style of music you want to learn and think about how much time in a day you can commit to practice
