What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I have a 15 minute phone consultation with my client to determine what their needs are. From there, we schedule a 2 hour cooking session at my client's house. I send my client a shopping list so all of the ingredients will be available for our session. I am also available for a grocery store tour if a client needs help with shopping. 


What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am a trained chef, and have been cooking and teaching cooking for over 15 years. I am a graduate of Bauman College's Nutrition Consultant program. 


Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

Food prep session $200

For our 2 hour basic food prep session, you can choose what type of meal plan you'd like. I'll design a week’s worth of nutritious meals and snacks attuned to your individual nutritional requirements, personal food preferences, allergies/intolerances, and work schedule. We'll get together and cover the basic skills you'll need to prepare the meals on your meal plan. We'll follow up two weeks later with one free 30 minute session.


How did you get started teaching?

After working in catering for several years, I began working at a charter high school for at-risk youth as the manager of their student-powered cafe. After 5 years, I became the chef instructor at the school.
