About
My lessons are individualized and tailored to each student. Not all students learn the same, not even twins.
I thoroughly enjoy music and piano. I find joy in teaching what I know to another and sharing in that learning experience

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
On the first day I introduce the piano and the character of the instrument to the student, posture, and overall beginner piano etiquette. I familiarize the instrument with the students and get to know the students learning level.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been teaching for about 10 years working with both beginner and adult students
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Standard pricing is $1 per minute for the first 45 minutes. Additional pricing is dependent on travel distance to student.
How did you get started teaching?
I was still studying when I had friends interested in learning. So I began to give them lessons, they then spread the word and I've been doing so ever since
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with music students, aspiring pianist, hobbyists, children, and adults
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Not every teacher is the same. So it's important to find a teacher than can teach to your style of learning and not just follow a standard teaching agenda that may or may not work
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Ask yourself why you want to learn piano, and then set realistic goals to fulfill that commitment.
