    Frequently asked questions

Just like driving, I begin by collecting information on the desired destination and how familiar the student is in getting to our end goal. Based on the information and level of knowledge of the student, I am able to formulate a curriculum.

I graduated college with a BS Interior Design degree under the department of Family Consumer Science at California State University Northridge. This has trained me to make sure that every service I provide meet both the strong aesthetic and functional desires of the consumer.

I am a self-trained home chef and foodie who has mastered the flavors of Filipino cuisine. My passion for cooking began when I was in the first grade when I prepared the waldorf salad for my parents. I hid the salad after I made it, not thinking much of it, but it found its way to my father's plate where he was blown away by how it was prepared and asked who made it. I cooked everything else but Filipino food until I married a Filipino man who happened to be the son of one of the best Filipino caterers in the Philippines. That's when my passion to learn how to cook Filipino food began.

My passion for etiquette and good customer service began during my childhood when my parent's strict training in the dining room was fully enforced. Understanding the importance of good manners also helped me when I started working in the service industry. Providing and receiving good customer services is pivotal to binding both ends of the party meeting at a pleasant point of mutual respect.

As an introductory promotional price, I'm starting at $50.00 per student. This does not include the cost of the ingredients. That will depend on the dish we will make and something to be discussed.

My first experience in teaching was when I became a call center trainer, limited to a 48 hour turn around before we deployed our agents live. Customer service and understanding cultural differences was my focus and allowed me to prepare stellar agents for cold marketing calls.

    From beginners to seasoned students.

I have recently been hosting grazing events,  a fun social experience sprouted from buffet style charcuterie boards elegantly displayed in generous amounts for guest to nibble through the duration of the event allowing more time for people to flow through the room to actively interact with other guest. This beautifully curated and designed table also serves as the decorative center for the event theme.

Ask all the questions your heart desires until you are content and ready to get to the main lesson.
