Students will learn street-effective self-defense skills as they learn the traditional Japanese martial art of Budoshin Jujitsu. Students have two options:
1] Our Buddoshin Jujitsu Dojo has operated through community agencies since 1968, currently operating through the city of Santa Clarita Parks & Recreation Services Dept.
2] Budoshin Jujitsu Yudanshakai is an online-supported home study program, active since the mid 1980's.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
In our park program new students learn core basics [how to land safely, basic stances, and simple self-defense techniques] starting with their first class. The park program usually has 8-10 week sessions. Students are always supervised and encouraged to practice movements slowly as they gain confidence.
With the online supported program the student must have a training partner, but the curriculum is essentially the same.
