Gabriel provides really interesting guide of sounds of American English. It helps to gain a better understanding of American accent and its specifics.
I love working with this guy. He is very knowledgable, patient and he also knows how to make the lessons dynamic.
“I have taken lessons with other instructors but things became redundant. Gabriel gave me an incredible amount of new insights. He appears to have a very good system, even for people who have had no prior lesson experiences. I am very excited to practice the new exercises he introduced to me. He is a great instructor. I am excited about practicing all that he has taught me already!”
“Gabriel’s method of visualizing English sounds in the form of a map proved to be extremely helpful and efficient. No longer I am lost in a seemingly endless universe of foreign noises! The sound map is a concise and precise tool that enables me to target just the right sounds. Even when I fail to produce the exact match for a native pronunciation, I end up sufficiently close to be easily understood. I cannot stress enough the benefits of having a clear idea of how a word is supposed to sound. All too often, non-native speakers fail to pronounce something correctly not because they can’t do it but simply because they don’t know how to. Gabriel’s approach eliminates the uncertainty about what you should do to sound native. Knowing what to do doesn’t equal being able to immediately do it. But it’s a solid foundation on which you can build your new pronunciation. The pronunciation that will always be only as good as the efforts you are willing to put in it. “
