Alex is a stupendous teacher. Ive been learning from him for more than 3 years and they have been the most worthwhile years of piano in my life. Ive switched several teachers. More than 6, if I remember correctly, simply because I never found a teaching style that worked for me. Alex is very patient with me, especially since I cant read notes very fast. He pushes, but not too much. Hes always willing to help and is well aware of what lacks and needs improvement. Without his help, I would not have passed Level 10 and the Panel. I am very appreciative of all that I have learned from Alex. I am very grateful for all he has done for me.

We’ve known Alexandre for 20 years now. He started out teaching our daughter, and when our son was old enough to start playing we didn’t even think of going to anyone else. Alexandre has been an outstanding teacher to both of our children. He’s very patient, tailors lessons to each student’s personality, and picks pieces his students will be excited to learn. He comes from the Russian school of pianist Anna Esipova, and has passed that classical training on to our children, and he also teaches music theory, sight reading, and jazz. Overall, he’s a great teacher and a wonderful pianist. We really recommend him!
