Daedalon Music
About
I teach and coach voice in opera, musical theatre and jazz/standards. I have an MA from the Butler School of Music at UT, Austin in voice and organ, and a BA in performance from Wells School of Music, University of West Chester.
I have extensive experience performing in opera, oratorios, musical theatre, recitals as a singer, as a pianist and as an organist. My training is very comprehensive, so the people I work with learn technique as well as theory, harmony, acoustics, the anatomy of the voice, and music history.
My lessons are structured on what I hear from a student/performer, not what I expect. I find out a persons hopes, expectations and goals, strengths, weaknesses, as well as assets and fears. We work together to overcome obstacles, and develop a genuine, realistic and empowering path forward

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I listen to them where they are, and ask questions about their hopes and goals. I offer a frank but supportive evaluation of what I hear and try to illuminate a path forward
