I have been taking lessons from Gabriel for the last 2 years and have seen huge improvements in my vocal abilities. His use of the Bel Canto method has helped me discover things about my voice that I did not know I was capable of. Gabriel always taylors each lesson to what my voice needs at any given moment and is able to adapt what we are working on based on how my voice is feeling that day or what it is capable of doing at any given moment. Not only have I learned to sing better, but he has taught me how to protect my voice by using proper techniques, breathing techniques and vocalizations.When I hear my voice from when I began lessons and now I can't believe the improvement.

I’ve been taking bass lessons with Jeff Brent for about 5–6 months and recently started guitar lessons with him about 2 months ago, and I couldn’t be happier with the progress I’ve made. Jeff is an incredible teacher—extremely talented, intelligent, and deeply knowledgeable about music. What really sets him apart is that he doesn’t just teach tabs or shortcuts; he dives into music theory and explains things in a way that makes it click. It feels like I’m learning the right way, with a strong foundation that will benefit me no matter what instrument I pick up. Jeff is also super flexible with scheduling, which makes it easy to find a time each week that works. The fact that he teaches through Zoom is not only convenient, but it also makes his lessons affordable since I don’t have to drive anywhere. On top of that, he can teach just about any instrument ( except trumpet🤣), so I know I’ll always have room to grow under his instruction. He’s not only a gifted musician and teacher but also a genuinely nice and funny person, which makes lessons something I always look forward to. I honestly wouldn’t want to be taught by anyone else from now on. If you’re looking for a teacher who knows his craft inside and out, makes learning enjoyable, and adapts to your needs, I can’t recommend Jeff Brent enough. It is a true hidden gem!! Both of my son and daughter are having lessons, one plays guitar and one plays drum. The instructors are not only giving instrument lessons but they also guide both of my children into the musical world by teaching and encouraging them to form a band, composing their own songs and helping them exploring more type of musics! We are beyond grateful and feeling really lucky that we found them!! Thank you!

Logan bent over backwards to help my daughter have success. He taught her all the techniques and skills of pop singing he has learned over his experience in the music field. He also was able to prepare her for a professional recording which he spent hours on making her sound her optimal best. It really boost her confidence to know she could sing so well. He was very positive and understanding of her insecurities yet challenged her to push through them. Logan is a very talented musician not only vocally but also technologically. I could never sing my favorite songs because of the high notes. I had a hard time reaching them. So I searched for singing lessons near Irvine and found Catherine's Music Studio. I used to be so embsarrassed singing in front of people. Catherine helped me develop and drastically increased my vocal range. I had been singing the wrong way all this time! Catherine taught me the proper way to sing a high note. She helped me build confidence and overcome my fear of my singing in front of people. She made me reslize that I could do much more than I thought I could. I am also learning how to play chords on the piano to accompany the songs that I am learning to sing now. As an artist myself (with a musical background and YEARS of childhood music lessons from a variety of teachers), I can confirm that not every music teacher is an artist, and not every artist is a good teacher. Diane is that rare and precious combination of a stellar musician AND incredible teacher. Our Zoom fatigued 10 year old daughter can't wait to log on to her lesson each week; and she always gets a balance of solid technique, encouragement, and carefully chosen and suggested songs that she is excited to practice. Her own technique has improved more than I thought possible in a short period of time at a young age. 'Miss Diane' deserves more than five stars.
