Hi! My name is Ian Robles and I am a gigging jazz and rock drummer currently studying Jazz drums and percussion at San Diego Mesa College. I have been playing drums for about five years now and am extremely passionate about not only playing the drums but sharing my knowledge to those interested in learning. I am extremely well versed in different styles so I am able to teach different techniques, grooves, composing drum parts, and so on and so forth. From my experience I know what works and what doesn’t, but I’m still able to keep learning entertaining and not feel like busy work.

Through my many favorite experiences of working with Ian in our drum lessons, I really liked the various exercises and practices that were routinely practiced within every drum lesson. Ian does not feel only as a great teacher and mentor, however also someone you can find as a friendly person to talk to past the drum lessons.
