About
I am a retired music teacher and want to continue sharing what I love. I have been teaching piano to children throughout my adult life and love seeing them blossom in their music skills. I have a great rapport with my students and know that they look forward to my lessons.
Music has always been a big part of my life. Sharing my love of music with a student gives me a connection and builds a relationship with him/her.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Normally a student contacts me and we discuss the student's age, personality and experience in piano. Then we agree on a place and time to meet so I can begin working with the student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an accomplished musician with a minor degree in music education. I was an elementary music teacher in the public school system for much of my career and taught piano privately during this time.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $25 per half-hour lesson in my home.
How did you get started teaching?
I was an elementary grade school teacher and because of my musical expertise, I was chosen to be the district's music specialist. I worked in this position for over 20 years.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have had students ranging from 4 years on up to early adults.
