But first let me tell you about myself.

I am an experienced classroom music teacher with a Bachelors Degree in Music Education. In addition to vocal studies as a soprano, my training included piano as my major instrument for performance and pedagogy.

I operate Get Into Music studio, teaching piano to children and adults. My method incorporates singing, not just for pitch and vocal development (especially for children), but also to develop the ability to sing and accompany at the same time.

My years of experience in vocal and piano performances have taught me that doing so fully connects the body, mind, and emotion. I provide that musical experience to my students.

My piano teaching is classically based but also include pop styles and forms. What do you want to accomplish? Let's discuss how you can achieve that. Are you inclined to play hymns? It's in the repertoire. How about "playing by ear"? I can show you how because I do. Whether you are a pure beginner wishing to learn how to play the piano, or someone who would like to "pick it up again", or who inherited Grandma's old upright and can't bear its silence any longer and you want to "see how it works", or it's not for you, but for your child...Let's connect.

My rates are affordable. But I do emphasize to kids that piano lessons are not the price of a hamburger and fries; and that they are so lucky to have parents that see the value of music in life, "make them" take piano lessons, and pay for it (Starting at $30 per half hour).
