I even give food history tours of the Grand Central Market, downtown LA. Nothing makes me happier than teaching people to make food that they love. Once they realise how easy and quick it is, it opens up a whole new world of finding that they love to cook~!
My classes are filled with food history and how to choose and cook fresh ingredients. I sprinkle in nutritional information along the way. We laugh and we eat and it is completely satisfying for me to know how much my students learn.
Steve Bluestein Feb 20, 2019, 11:21 AM (1 day ago) to me I don’t know how to cook. I have trouble making toast and that’s no joke. But Elaine Good teaches methods which makes it easy for even someone like me to learn how to cook. Not only is she teaching how to make it easy but she teaches you about the nutritional values of what you’re cooking and what combinations of food are good for you or bad for you. I can’t recommend this cooking class highly enough. She is a gem.
The best thing about Elaine is her complete and total knowledge of food and how it affects the body. I learned so much while learning how to cook
We discuss what the studen wants to learn via text or email, menu options follow, date and location is set, a deposit holds the date.
