What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Trial lesson - Conversation about plans. Trial lesson where I will see what will be the most suitable plan for him or her.
I believe everyone is idividual, thus every student's plan will be tailored to their needs, stregths and weaknesses.
I also believe that before anything, ensuring the student to remain injury free is vital (in regards to piano and violin lessons)

How did you get started teaching?
My professor in Sydney was inspirational. Without her, I would not be where I am now. Seeing her work with both kids and adults inspired me to pass along my skills. In Addition, I have frequently worked with kids under the age of 10 (classroom setting) and it just simply fills me with joy. I am currently a teaching artist at YOLA, where I teach primary school children. I also teach violin and piano privately.
What types of students have you worked with?
Students ranging from ages 3 - adult. Levels from Beginner to Advanced.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find someone who will be honest with you, and who will only have your best interest at heart.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
I'm open to all questions
