What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to assess thier level, technic, understanding of music, and musical interests at the first lesson. Also, it is important to understand what thier music goals are and set up a plan that is tailored to help them meet those goals.

I typically charge $40/30minutes or $70/hour for a lesson at my home studio or online using Zoom.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching private lessons in 1992 in Long Beach. I have always found teaching to be rewarding.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have taught every age from 5 to 80. I tend to prefer teaching adults of any level or very gifted young people.
