Music is not successfully taught or learned, save with a true and innate purpose. I teach music with the sole purpose to aid the learner in being an adequate instrument in enriching the lives of others through music.

I will teach and help beginners develop musical ability, that they may be that adequate person to be a gift to others. If the learner has music ability prior to lessons, then the goal is to improve and aid the student in internalizing and eternalizing the gift of music flowing from their hands or voice.

One thing I gain out of teaching others is seeing how excited they get when they see their progress and development. It is, in truth, amazing.

Teaching is also a joy; music is worth the time and effort, and helping others explore the beauty of it is amazing. We're all still exploring, and that makes it more special.
