A solid foundation over the last twenty years in music combined with creative development and instilling the love of music in adults, teens, and children! Teaching. Performing. Composing. I can teach you about stage performance, how to sing and play at the same time, composing your own music, and music theory lessons as well!
Beginning Piano Lessons, or more advanced lessons on how to play chords and accompany yourself singing popular tunes, how to read chord charts, how to have fun making music!
I like to instill a sense of musicality. If you have either a keyboard or a piano, I can teach you how to play it and have fun doing it.
Jeanette is very patient with our three young children. She is thoughtful and spends extra time to try to connect with them as students. She also tries to make sure she understands their individual passions and the things that excite them.
I have taken piano lessons with Jeanette for 7 months and have many songs under my belt. She is a new age composer and her style is what convinced me to take lessons from her. I just wanted to play songs that I recognize and find enjoyable, without focusing on theory. Some of my favorite songs include: Let it Be; Cristofori's Dream (David Lanz); Fur Elise; O Sole Mio; Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring: Blue Danube Waltz. My husband is so impressed that I could start playing songs right away.
I like to do a meet and greet so we can determine their level of ability and skill, and choose a teaching method book. I like to use Faber and Bastien, and a few others.
