Very happy with Janet as our workshop instructor. She is a true professional and describes vocal concepts in an easy effective way. She gives facts with practical meaning and clarity. I like her un-hurried and often humorous explanation of the complex art of singing. She has an obvious passion for music and a welcoming manner, especially for the beginners! When you look forward to the next lesson....well, that is a good note!
Janet is an incredibly competent and knowledgeable voice teacher who is very invested in her students' success. I solved my most frustrating vocal problems. I only wish I had found her sooner!
What a caring talented and focused vocal coach / teacher. If you want to learn how to sing well in San diego... This is the place.
I started with Janet in the mid-90s and I had NO skills as a performer. I had nice tone as a singer but my pitch was off. Janet taught me how to sing in pitch and gave me many opportunities to sing in her many groups and even singing telegrams (which terrified me). Since then I've been in two highly successful 80s bands and lived a dream of performing in countless clubs, weddings, and corporate events. I would never have been able to do that without Janet's help and guidance. Thanks Janet!
