Having worked as an administrator with Mio at a music school, I especially noted the outstanding comments she would receive from her students. They would describe her as very encouraging and patient as a person, and thorough in her teaching. With her masters in piano performance and playing with professional orchestras, she provides what students need, from a young child to adults just wanting to learn. I have no doubt any student she teaches will thoroughly enjoy their lessons with her and learn to love music!

Mio provided concise and fun lessons with gentle real time feedback. She would solicit feedback and immediately modify the lessons from the feedback.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I vary my approach depending on the student's age, experience with prior musical instruction, and what their goals are. I typically teach my students using method books while also working on songs that students would enjoy playing.
