I am a patient and easy-going teacher with decades of experience as a working musician and teacher of music, including 9 years as a K-8 music teacher in the classroom. I am low-stress and usually take things at the pace the student sets. There is a good degree of focus on theory, note reading, and ear training as well as playing. Lessons are available at my studio, via Zoom, or as a combination of the two.
