About

Teaching others how to stand out as a professional, it puts them in the top 1%

As a martial artist I’ve been a practitioner for 35 years, inducted into the American karate kung fu Federation Hall of Fame, awarded lifetime achievement, And a fifth-degree black belt, former international sport karate champion, instructor of he highly acclaimed national programs rapist beware and America in defense .

Knowing how to do something does not necessarily qualify one as a good teacher. My passion is helping others learn how to learn and know how to know, this is what builds confidence and skill. There are many facets to being good at any one thing; practice, execution, focus, intention, confidence, discipline, integrity and more...but it all starts with an instructor whom already has mastered how to do this and is qualified to teach it, I am that instructor.

    Audrey Marchionno Acting Coach Review
    By Robert Garnsey
Let me start by saying that Audrey Marchionno is a top-notch acting coach. She is well-versed in a wide range of acting styles and applications and capable of teaching them actors of any age or experience level. In less than two months under Audrey’s tutelage, my daughter Portia’s acting has improved by leaps and bounds. For one thing, she is much more confident and able to make better character choices to suit and role. In addition, Audrey has inspired her to new heights by teaching her how to portray a wide variety of characters that cover the entire emotional spectrum and to view the scene from many different angles. This has allowed Portia to discover the subtleties in the scene that make the difference between an average and an outstanding performance. Under Audrey, my daughter is not just acting—she is becoming her characters!
But to focus solely on Audrey’s formidable teaching skills would be to do her a disservice. She has been so much more than an instructor to my daughter Portia. She is a trusted confidante, a mentor, and a true friend who tells her students what they NEED to hear rather than what they want to hear. We are truly blessed to have Audrey in our lives. If you or your child are ready to take your acting to the next level, Audrey is the coach for you. I would recommend her 100%.

    Frequently asked questions

Most important is to understand what the student wishes to accomplish, in what time fram and what limitations there may be. In order to understand limitations, as not to push someone too far and avoid injury, I start with a short analysis of mobility, flexibility, endurance and balance.

I am a master martial artsist of 35 years. I am a fifth degree black belt wlth training in karate, kung fu, boxing, weapons, fitness training, nutrition and mindfulness.

Typically, my rates are based on $20 per hour in relation to degrees. So, when I was a first degree, I charged @20 per hour, now at 5th degree my rate was $100 per hour for special training such as tournament preperation, black belt testing preperation, etc. But in order to reach a broader client base my rates are lower than mentioned for Lessons.com clients, yet still competitive. In most cases, one gets what they pay for.

In order to achieve my black belt, I had to pass a teaching requirement. Knowing how to do karate, does not necessarily qualify one to teach it. Later, I opened my own school.

I have worked with students from the age of 4 years old to 87 years old, I have taught persons with autisim and other medical conditions.

In 2019 I was awared a Lifetme Achievment award by the American Karate Kung Fu Federation.

Do your research. A martial arts, fitness and or life coach shoud present as such. This person should reflect confidence, stature, kindness, professionalism, consideration and abillity.

With whom are the acrredited, how many years experience, what qualifies them to teach their skill and who are their references.
