About The Actors Company

Enrollment is based on an interview. I choose students carefully because I want to maintain a very high level of commitment, talent, hard work ethic and positive attitude. These things are more important to me than experience as I have different level classes for any student from brand new  to professional actors who work constantly. I believe that the more students act, the faster they progress, which is why I guarantee them at least 3 opportunities to work on a variety of acting focuses ranging from On Camera Auditions to Scene Study, Monologue Work, to Commercial Acting and much more in each and every class. I keep my classes small because it is important to me that every student feels that I am invested in them, that I see their success and that I am giving them notes that I believe will challenge and help them grow as individuals. As an acting teacher, I will not take a payment from an actor unless I genuinely believe in their goals, hence, the interview. I work hard with each of my students because I want them to realize their dream of acting professionally.

Teaching will always be, and for almost 30 years now, has always been, my greatest professional passion. I believe we're all here for a reason and, after trying to be the best husband and dad possible, my greatest joys in life come from coaching actors. I know how fortunate I am to own The Actors Company, because, every day, I am surrounded by actors who want to improve so they can realize their dreams and who have not given up on what they love most: ACTING. It is an honor, a responsibility and a challenge to teach acting students and to do whatever necessary to help them achieve their goals. There is an unbelievable high for me to see my students progress and become more confident about their unique talents. Of coures, there is also the indescribable joy of seeing them book professional work. I'm moved when I know they can make that call to their families to say, "I got it". I genuinely like actors and am driven to help them realize the rewards for sticking to their Plan A and not giving up as soon as it gets hard. This is a tough business, as we all know. At The Actors Company, our slogan is "We Give A Damn", because we do. I'm blessed to be an Acting Coach and want as many actors as possible to experience the accomplishment of doing what they love. My advice to students: Keep believing in yourselves, keep improving and enjoy the crazy ride which is the world of acting! Rock on Actors!
